MEGHAN RECKLING
CO-FOUNDER & CEO

Meghan Reckling is a seasoned political strategist with over 25 years of experience in public policy, campaigns, and grassroots organizing. She began her career in the Michigan Legislature, serving as a Legislative Assistant in the Michigan House before becoming a Chief of Staff in the Michigan Senate, where she played a pivotal role in advancing significant legislative initiatives.

 

In 2018, she was elected Chair of the Livingston County Republican Party and was unanimously re-elected in 2020. Under her leadership, the party achieved record-breaking fundraising success and secured sweeping electoral victories, leading to her election as Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party’s (MIGOP) County Chair Advisory Committee from 2020 to 2022. She also served on the MIGOP State Committee during that time and was a Trump Delegate to the 2020 Republican National Convention.

Committed to strengthening conservative leadership in Michigan, Meghan founded the Michigan Republican Training Academy in 2023, now the state’s most prominent conservative training organization. She co-founded Victory Field Operations that same year, specializing in ballot access, initiatives, signature data management, and recount management. In recognition of her leadership, she was selected as a 2024 Fellow of Michigan State University’s Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP).

Jeff Wiggins is a seasoned political strategist with over 20 years of experience in campaigns, political organizations, state government, and grassroots activism. With an extensive background in election policy and political communications, he has led strategic efforts that resulted in significant wins for conservative leaders and initiatives across Michigan.

 

A graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in History, Jeff went on to earn his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and an alumnus of Detroit Catholic Central High School.

MARK RECKLING

Mark Reckling serves as the Vice President of Fraud & Auditing at Victory Field Operations, bringing nearly 25 years of law enforcement experience to the organization. Specializing in investigations and undercover assignments throughout his career, Mark has developed a sharp eye for detecting fraud and irregularities. These skills have been instrumental in shaping Victory Field Operation's industry-leading standards for petition and signature verification.

His expertise in reviewing surveillance footage, reports, and evidence seamlessly translates into auditing paid signature collection, ensuring accuracy and integrity. With meticulous attention to detail, he excels at identifying inconsistencies in handwriting, ink variations, and formatting, helping to safeguard the validity of ballot initiatives. Committed to upholding ethical best practices, Mark is crucial in minimizing the risk of compromised data or fraudulent collection, reinforcing VFO’s reputation for excellence and reliability.

EMILY LIZOTTE

BUSINESS SERVICES

Emily serves as the Vice President of Business Services at Victory Field Operations, bringing over a decade of experience in business operations, process improvement, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Victory Field Operations, Emily was the Director of Business Services at High Lantern Group, where they managed multi-office operations across the U.S. and Switzerland, developed cost-saving strategies, and led cross-departmental collaboration to enhance efficiency. With a strong background in contract negotiations, workflow optimization, and employee development, she is pivotal in ensuring smooth business operations at Victory Field Operations.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University, Emily combines legal insight with operational excellence to drive results. At Victory Field Operations, they are committed to streamlining processes, implementing innovative solutions, and supporting the company’s rapid growth.

MITCH ZAJAC
LEGAL

Mitch Zajac is a Shareholder at Butzel’s Detroit office, where he specializes in automotive law, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, international trade law, and Michigan election law. With a background in both law and engineering, he provides strategic counsel to clients navigating complex legal and technical challenges.

​

A graduate of WMU-Cooley Law School (J.D., 2017), Mitch also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in German from the WMU Lee Honors College (2012), and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (2013). His academic and leadership achievements include being a Rhodes Scholar finalist in 2012, interning for Congressman Fred Upton, and serving as a four-year starter on Western Michigan’s Division 1 football team, where he was a nominee for the American Football Wuerffel Trophy in 2011.

Beyond his legal career, Mitch is deeply involved in public service and nonprofit leadership. He serves as President of the Association for Child Development and the WMU-Cooley Law School Board of Directors. Additionally, he was elected as a Livingston County Commissioner, serving from 2021 to 2022, where he worked to advance policies that strengthened the community.

Jennifer Wiggins is a community leader and passionate advocate, bringing a wealth of experience in working with people and local advocacy to her role. With a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a Master's in Social Work from Wayne State University, she has honed her skills in fostering professional environments and community engagement.

 

Jennifer has been a pivotal figure in local conservative movements, serving as a campaign volunteer, organizer, and precinct delegate. Her ability to work well with people and foster relationships is not only essential in her position as an HR Manager but also evident in her ability to produce results.

MICHELLE SMITH

Michelle Smith serves as the Office and Project Manager at Victory Field Operations, bringing extensive experience in political operations, administration, and business management. A seasoned conservative leader, Michelle previously ran for Michigan’s 58th House District in 2022 and served as 9th District GOP Chair.

​

With a background in HR, payroll, and office administration, as well as owning a real estate appraisal company, Michelle blends strategic planning with operational efficiency.

 

A Walsh College graduate, she is also deeply involved in community service, supporting Michigan DECA, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and Make-A-Wish. At VFO, she leverages her expertise to drive political and operational success.
